Mr. H.D. Gailey, speaks fluent Spanish, earned a bachelors degree in communication from the University of Utah, and a juris doctorate from the University of Idaho in 2006. Mr. Gailey spent the first years after graduating from law school representing large corporate entities in civil litigation. After a few years, Mr. Gailey found more satisfaction obtaining favorable outcomes for his clients accused of criminal injustices. He enjoys protecting the constitutional rights of all people.
Mr. Gailey gained valuable criminal experience while interning with the Moscow City Attorney’s Office, as well as the with the ADR Administrator & Staff Attorney U.S. District Court for the District of Utah and as a CASA volunteer for the Couer d’Alene Indian Tribe where he worked primarily with domestic violence and child abuse matters. He has taught paralegal courses to college level students looking to enter the legal field. In addition, he has given numerous seminars to college and high school students regarding business ethics.
Mr. Gailey is resourceful and willing to put in the hours to get the job done, often resulting in creative solutions to difficult issues. Mr. Gailey is a fun loving individual with a calming demeanor. And while he takes each individual’s situation seriously, he has the ability to bring laughter to the most stressful situations. He is also a proud member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (UACDL)
